This Bushmills whiskey underwent a secondary maturation in Amarone Dry Red Wine Valpolicella, Verona Hogshead French Oak, and was bottled for the Private Reserve series.

According to Sazerac, the Hawk’s Rock Distillery name draws inspiration from a prominent Ox Mountains outcrop that influenced Nobel Prize-winning poet W.B. Yeats’ play ‘At the Hawk’s Well’.
Natterjack The Mistake came about when the whiskey makers at Natterjack left Irish whiskey in 46 virgin oak casks for an additional year.
