Compass Box Whisky Company, on the heels of the Lost Blend whisky that it announced last month, is back once again with another new release paying homage to the wonderful Scottish city of Glasgow. It is called Glasgow Blend and it is the second permeant edition to the company’s Great King Street series.

full, rich and smoky on the palate, with notes of baking spices and sherry wine notes.
The whisky, bottled at 43% ABV, was matured in a combination of sherry, American and French oak casks. The blend mix of this is rather interesting, drawing from a high proportion of Highland and Islay single malts – around 67% – combined with 33% Lowland single grain whisky. It should be available now and prices for around $50 a bottle.
