The Johnnie Walker Oliver Sweeney Brogue shoes, of which only 130 pairs were crafted, are made in Italy for men’s footwear and accessories label Oliver Sweeney and took two days a piece to make from very fine calf leather. They are fashioned into what’s described as the “iconic Oxford Style Brogue,” reworked of course in the heel to accommodate small bottles of Johnnie Walker Red Label whisky while also highlighting on the side of the shoe a striding man logo that’s part of this whisky’s branding.

Lining the heel of each shoe’s whisky holding compartment is red suede to cushion the bottle, as well as this area being “finished with a transparent top-piece that allows [the bottle] to be seen from below.” Red detailing is also done further throughout the shoe, according to those behind Oliver Sweeney, including in the “leather outsole, tongue, laces and insole, as well as the Blake stitching on the sole and the custom-embroidered JW to the heel counter.”
As if this weren’t enough, inside the shoe box you’ll find a bottle of ginger ale and a recipe card to create a special “Johnnie & Ginger” cocktail.
