Scotland’s Knockdhu Distillery, known for its line of anCnoc single malt whiskies, has unveiled a new addition to this brand that’s seen almost two decades of rest in American oak ex-bourbon and European oak ex-sherry casks. The new anCnoc 18 Year Old is set to price for around £70 ($110).Tasting notes for this new single malt are below courtesy of anCnoc:
Nose: Gentle spices and intense sweetness of dried fruits are topped with silky chocolate ganache, a squeeze of ripe orange and a mere suggestion of oiled leather. Intricate and elegant, balancing both maturity and Distillery’s signature character.
