Tasting Notes

About:

Blend of straight rye mash bills. 117.2 proof (58.6% ABV). Limited edition release of 3,000 six-pack cases. SRP of $69.99/750mL.
Appearance:
Light caramel in color.
Nose:
Peachy notes with hints of chocolate and oak.
Palate:

Comments:
I enjoy a good barrel proof whiskey, and when I don’t immediately reach for a few drops of water to tame the heat, color me impressed. Rossville Union’s annual release is slightly sweet, balanced, and of great quality for its modest price.rnrn
