Talisker Distillery on the Isle of Skye has released the 2024 30 Year Old limited edition single malt scotch whisky.

The Talisker 30 Year Old has been an annual release from the distillery since 2006 as part of Diageo’s Special Releases, with a few years’ hiatus in between. It has remained a steadfast and popular contribution to Talisker’s portfolio. Ewan Gunn, Diageo’s single malt scotch ambassador, hails the 30 Year Old as “a consistently exceptional release.”

The 2024 Edition was bottled at 49.8% ABV with just 2,610 bottles yielded. As such, this is the rarest 30 Year Old Talisker to ever be released.

Gunn adds: “This new release of Talisker 30 year old holds all the classic characteristics of the single malt, yet elevated to new heights. Soaring with sweet smoke and pointy notes of pepper, this latest release is an elegant and complex expression.”

Presented in stunning packaging reminiscent of Skye’s rugged and beautiful coastline, the bottle retails for £1,300 ($1,690) via Malts.com and selected retailers such as Justerini & Brooks and ReserveBar.com.
