Welcome to the next evolution of The Whiskey Wash! As the founder of this site, I greatly appreciate your visit to our little corner of the whiskey information Web and hope you’ll find whatever it is you are looking for amongst our redesigned and faster loading web pages.

When I started this site back in late 2013, it was just a hobby blog at the time. Consumer interest in all things whiskey was starting to really take off, and I wanted The Whiskey Wash to be part of that conversation, telling the stories of those behind the brown spirit and showcasing the many, many amazing bottles coming out from distilleries and brands, big and small alike. I also have a strong passion for all things whiskey, no matter where in the globe it comes from, and turned to creating this site to share that with the world.

Over 8 years and 7,000+ posts later, The Whiskey Wash has emerged as one of the most trusted and read online sources around the whiskey lifestyle, with hundreds of thousands of monthly readers like yourself turning to us to stay informed. It is something the writing team and I take great pride in, and we aim to grow the site even more in providing quality content, starting with this design overhaul.

You’ll notice going forward things are easier to navigate and we’ve also added a more visible search function. New to the site as well will be a special whiskey cocktail section with ongoing contributions from a range of quality bartenders and guest writers.

As we here at The Whiskey Wash look forward into 2022, you can expect to see us beefing up our social media presence even more through our already established channels. A relaunch of our long dormant podcast is being looked at, and we will also be moving into video and perhaps live events and a membership program. More details on all of this in the new year.
