Angel’s Envy General Manager Gigi DaDan said the distiller has seen significant growth over the past several years, “and that will only be amplified with our brand home expansion as we can now better meet the incredible demand from visitors who want to tour our facilities and experience our distillery.”

A statement from the distiller notes that the expansion will create approximately 20 new jobs in Louisville and includes new spaces and experiences for guests, such as a larger retail area, five new tasting rooms, an additional bar space, event space, and full catering kitchen and a designated room for a “Bottle Your Own” experience.

Angel’s Envy, for those that don’t know about it, is a Louisville, Kentucky-based craft distiller that produces finished whiskeys. It was co-founded in 2010 by the late Master Distiller Lincoln Henderson and his son Wes Henderson, and is described “as a passion project that combined their family’s deep-rooted passion for and knowledge of the industry with an innovative outlook on bourbon making and finishing.”

Today, the team continues to produce its core offerings – a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels and a Rye Whiskey Finished in Caribbean Rum Casks – as well as a variety of special releases. They opened the doors to the Brand Home, the first full-production whiskey distillery in downtown Louisville, in 2016.
