The Teeling Whiskey Company out of Ireland continues to aim for being a driving force in the resurgent popularity of Irish whisky. It has made some interesting unveilings in the last year, ranging from a single malt expression that’s part of its core range to some more exotic and rare bottlings upwards of 30 years of age. It also has out on the market a single grain whisky that it is set to now bring to American drinkers as well.

Nose: Spice and fruit notes mingle with an underlying sweet nose.
Taste: Strong spice at the start developing into lush red berries and grapes, with drying tannin effect at the end.
Finish: Dry finish dominated by wood and spice.
