Old Fashioned Glass or Spanish Coffee Mug
Blender
Medium Sauce Pan
Whisk (wire or silicone)
Air tight container or bottle
Ingredients
1 cup Breckenridge Rum Cask Finished Bourbon
1 can Coconut Milk (13.5oz)
1 can Coconut Cream (14.5oz)
2/3 cup cane sugar (white or raw)
2tbsp Unsalted, Unsweetened Almond Butter (raw is best)
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Ground Nutmeg
* 1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice (Optional)*
Steps to Make
Add all ingredients, minus the bourbon into a blender. Blend on high until well blended.
Add the mixture to medium sauce pan over medium heat and whisk constantly until just at boiling.
The mixture will thicken as it comes to a boil.
Remove from heat and whisk in the bourbon. Let cool.
When cooled pour into a bottle or other airtight container. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
When serving, pour a cup into your glass or cup and sprinkle some spices on top.
If you like you can add ice for a thinner drink, or warm up your portion in a saucepan before serving.
