Steps to Make

Muddle watermelon chunks and simple syrup at the bottom of your julep cup.

Add 8-10 mint leaves to the cup and press lightly (not too aggressively) with your muddler to release the oils in the mint.

Fill the glass half way with crushed ice and pour in the bourbon.

Stir until the glass frosts over, then top with crushed ice.

Add sliced melon for garnish and a few sprigs of mint.
