The Ezra Brooks brand will see two new expressions hit retail shelves later this month.
Lux Row distillers explained that Ezra Brooks 99 Straight Rye Whiskey is made from a 51% rye mash bill, is charcoal filtered, and comes bottled at 99 proof. The distiller’s notes show the whiskey features tastes of chocolate, leather, vanilla and spicy grains, along with oaky tones.

The Straight Rye features packaging similar to its Straight Bourbon sibling, featuring a large “99” proof on the label with Lux Row Distillers embossing on the bottle’s shoulder.
For the Ezra Brooks Bourbon Cream, it’s still made using natural cream and their Kentucky Straight Bourbon, but it’s now bottled at 33 proof.
The Bourbon Cream tasting notes include cinnamon, nutmeg and caramel with hints of vanilla and pecan on the nose and caramel, toffee and a smooth, warm finish on the palate.
“Based on the success of Ezra Brooks 99 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, we have elevated the proof for both the Ezra Brooks Rye and Bourbon Cream variants,” said Eric Winter, brand manager for Ezra Brooks. “Ezra Brooks 99 Rye drinkers will find the same great rye-whiskey taste, but with enhanced flavor delivered by the higher proof. Similarly, our new Ezra Brooks Bourbon Cream delivers a bolder, richer expression of the bourbon-cream flavor our customers love.”
