Jeptha Creed Distillery out of Kentucky has released a new, bottled-in-bond rye bourbon on its fifth anniversary. This new expression meets the requirements for bottled-in-bond, being barrel-aged at least four years, in a single season, in a bonded barrel barn, and proofed at 50% ABV.

It features a rye mash bill of Bloody Butcher corn, malted rye, and malted barley. All the Bloody Butcher corn was estate grown, on Jeptha’s own farmland within 10 miles of the distillery.

The new rye bourbon, the distillery noted, is available for purchase in Jeptha Creed’s distillery gift shop, online for shipping to KY, ND, AK, D.C., and in select stores throughout KY and IN. It will be available in select stores throughout IL, TN, and MO in March of 2022. The distillery recently also released a bourbon made from 90% Kentucky heirloom corn.
