Rupert Egan is the Head Bonder at Egan’s Irish Whiskey, a family-owned distillery with a legacy of crafting exceptional Irish whiskey dating back to 1852. Recently, Rupert partnered with Damien Grey, the head chef and founder of the two-Michelin-starred Liath Restaurant, to unveil a groundbreaking whiskey release called Senses. This unique collection comprises five ultra-premium 23-year-old Single Malt Irish whiskeys, each individually crafted and finished to express one of the five fundamental tastes: Bitter, Sour, Salt, Umami, and Sweet. With only 200 sets available worldwide, Senses represents a remarkable achievement in whiskey innovation.
