Jackson Purchase Distillery is coming to Lousiville’s Bourbon District, with a new office based in the center of Bourbon City.

The office will be based at 217 East Main Street, Louisville, KY, and will play host to meetings and private bourbon tastings for investors and potential distilling partners.

The Louisville Office Team

Michael Creech, Director of Contract Sales, will be based out of the new office. A veteran of the industry, Creech spent 20 years with Republic National Distributing Company, the second-largest spirits distributor in the United States. Creech joins Jackson Purchase Distillery’s corporate team with many years of experience under his belt.

Creech joins other industry icons such as Jackson Purchase’s Master Distiller, Craig Beam, and Assistant Master Distiller, Terry Ballard at the new office. Together, the three will bolster one of Kentucky’s fastest-growing bourbon brands.

Quick whisky question

Single malt is everywhere, but what does it mean? We want to know what the word “single” means to you. Three quick questions, under a minute.

Which stages must take place at the same distillery for a whisky to be called “single malt”?

Tick as many as you like

or

Must the barley in a single malt be grown in the same country the whisky is made in?

How would you describe your whisky knowledge?

“I’ve tasted a lot of whiskey, and I knew even from the first smell that this was something special,” said Creech. “You can tell from the quality that they’re doing things the way they should be done, and investing in the things that make a difference.”

The Expansion of Jackson Purchase Distillery

Jackson Purchase Distillery has been making leaps and bounds in the bourbon world in recent times, having been founded in 2021. On October 22, the distillery was honored with the Business of the Year award from the Hickman Chamber of Commerce.

In August, Kentucky’s Lt. Governor Jacqueline Coleman visited to cut the ribbon on a new 25,000-barrel rickhouse on-site, with construction now in progress on a neighboring rickhouse.

Earlier this year, the distillery expanded its production capabilities with a second 36-inch column still, driving a substantial increase in output.
