Board of Advisors - The Whiskey Wash

Board of Advisors

When we’re stumped, we ask these fine men and women for help:

Lew Bryson, Whiskey Author, Former Managing Editor of Whisky Advocate

He has also written four regional brewery guidebooks from Stackpole Books: Pennsylvania Breweries (4 editions); New York Breweries;Virginia, Maryland & Delaware Breweries; and New Jersey Breweries (with Mark Haynie).

Lisa Donoughe, Founder and Principal, Watershed Communications

LisaDBlessed with a super sensitive nose and a particularly pertinent palate, Lisa Donoughe found her way into the food and drink world relatively quickly. Once she was there, she demonstrated that she is indeed one of those rare creatures who is both creative thinker and implementer.

Before she landed in Portland, Lisa started shaping some of the biggest names from her big agency perch of New York City. Big brands? There were plenty, Lisa developed national PR campaigns for Wild Turkey Bourbon, Bombay Sapphire, Stolichnaya Vodka, San Pellegrino, and Campari, to name a few. Lisa loves working with brands that excite her palate and have inspiring stories to tell.

Lisa is happiest spring-boarding America’s great food and drink minds, quality ingredients, poignant places and ingenious products with a conscience that define our culture. Joining the advisory board of The Whiskey Wash was a natural progression, combining her editorial knowhow, keen palate, and love of whiskey to lend her insight and expertise to a great publication.
