New Slow Hand American Craft Whiskey Touched By Six Different Wood Types

slowhand-sixwoodThe Greenbar craft distillery in Los Angeles has been making waves across the US for being one of the largest producers of organic spirits that range from liqueurs to gin and vodka. Up till recently they also had a white whiskey that was good for cocktails. Now comes along an aged whiskey expression known as Slow Hand Six Woods Malt Organic Whiskey.

Slow Hand Six Woods Malt Organic Whiskey, according to several online sources, comes in both regular (42% ABV) and cask strength (57.5% ABV) versions. What you’ve got in bottle here is essentially a whiskey that’s been distilled from 100% malted barley, organic of course, and then aged in white oak vats with hard maple, red oak, mulberry, hickory and grape woods. Hence, the six woods in the name.

As for availability, the initial bottles of this interesting whiskey are now just making their way to retailers. I’ve listed a few places below you might be able to find a bottle from for shipment to you. Word is it isn’t a big batch that’s been shipped out though, so don’t delay for too long if you are into curious whiskey experiments.
