With today being April Fools’ Day and all, you likely have already noticed our little prank news story about a super secret whiskey costing $1 million a bottle. I’ve been tracking other whiskey prank jokes today as well and gathering them for your consideration below. We are proud to announce that starting today we will begin infusing barrels of our Ravenswood Rye with actual ravens. This is a ground-breaking innovation and we believe we are the first distillery to avian-age our whiskey. Each raven is smoked over oak for 12 hours before entering the barrel, which imparts a slightly smoky and meaty flavor to the rye that really balances out the citrus notes. You might not want to eat crow but you’ll love drinking raven!
